In order to further strengthen and standardize the management of international students in Jiangsu province, the provincial education department recently carried out a special inspection on the education of international students throughout the whole province. On September 26, the third inspection team of the provincial department visited our university. The inspection team was led by Jin Quanyuan, dean of the school of international education of Nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics, Tong Min, deputy dean of the school of international education of Nanjing agricultural university, and Diao Xiang, dean of the school of international education of Jiangsu vocational and technical college of economy and trade. Before the meeting, President Cao Yumin met with the members of the expert group. Vice President Zhang Jian, dean of the international college, Tang Xiaojun vice director of the university office, vice dean of the international college, as well as some teachers from the foreign affairs office and the international college attended the meeting.At the meeting, Jin Quanyuan conveyed the background, purpose and new requirements of the provincial education department on the management inspection of international students in the province. Zhang Jian briefly introduced the university and introduced the management of international students from four aspects: the student recruitment management, school management, teaching management and supporting facilities. According to check requirements of the provincial education department, he put forward the solutions and thinking on "how to improve the quality, how to standardize management, how to improve the policy and how to guard against risk".

According to the work arrangement, the expert group carefully reviewed the materials of international students' work in our university, observed the on-site teaching of international students, visited the dormitory of international students and communicated with some students. The expert group gave a high evaluation on our school's advanced teaching facilities, high-quality teacher resources, as well as the management of international students.

In the future, the university will sort out the problems existing in the management of international students according to the opinions and suggestions of the expert group. In line with the principle of "strengthening management, emphasizing quality and promoting highlights", the university will promote the healthy, orderly and standardized development of international student education.
