On  April 13, the Foreigners Orienteering Contest, sponsored by the Provincial  People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) in Jiangsu,  was held in Dongshan town, Wuzhong District of Suzhou. 102 foreign friends from  40 countries took part in the contest. Karim Baig (from Pakistan) won the first  prize for the men's group in individual event with his excellent sense of  orientation, map reading ability and running speed. The competition aimed to  spread the international image of Jiangsu as a confident and friendly province,  to further enrich and activate the life of foreign friends in Jiangsu, to  promote friendly exchanges between Jiangsu and the international communities,  and to deepen the friendship between local people and people from all over the  world.
